In our lab, we use several advanced microscopy methods. These are continuously introduced in the Advanced Microscopy Lecture Series, run in collaboration with Prof Thorsten Mascher. These methods include:

Confocal multi-photon excited lifetime imaging (FLIM)

Atomic Force Microscopy (AFM)

Confocal Laser Scanning Microscopy (CLSM)

In addition, we also use simple epifluorescent microscopy and fluorescent stereomicroscopes. Both produce wonderful images.
